I got one of those Savage pistols.... in .32
Speaking of savage 32's, I had a girlfriend once, a little sprig of a lass, and I ended up with a chipped tooth.... but I digress.

What is a btf problem?
Premature slide lock is often caused by the nose of a cartridge hitting the inside tab on the slide stop, or possibly a slide stop spring needing adjustment.
Feed issues...
I think you'll find the reverse is true. Hatcher noted it. Many online sources also note the same thing. It has to do with both the length of time a bullet is in the bore, and the amount of flip...
The idea was to lock the grips in place on the bushing, not on the screws themselves.
Some folks disagree, but blue locktite seems to hold 'em in. There used to be a tool that would actually peen...
Was goin' to town to get some paint and such, so I decided to load up the lil'Ford Ranger with arms and ammo, and take a trip to the indoor range while I was in civilized locales.

These days, lots of folks marry out of their age group.
For instance, one old rich guy about 82 or so, starts dating a gal who is only 30. After a few dates, he says... listen, I'd love to...
......a Win Mod 94 in .32 Win Special with 165 gr......
Wow and nice. So many of those .32 Special Winchester 94's are permanently retired, its nice to see one still in use!
Any .45 is good to have (almost). A pocketable .45 is even better. A lightweight pocketable .45 is the cat's ass!
Love both of my PM45's. Zero issues after one initial bobble. The PM9 get...
All these peacemaker images are redefining sexual frustration for me.... jeeze!
When I was in the gun biz... we had just a few checks on 4473s to owners who no longer had the guns. Only ATF can check that stuff, btw. Locals can ASK, but we'd tell 'em to pound sand. Those are...
