ran 4 to 6 shot strings, very rapid fire just pointing (not aiming) at 10 yds
with practice this is gonna work just fine

Evidently, the quality of the trigger varies from gun to gun.
The XD compact .40 I shot today had an exceptional trigger.
My .45 XDs is good, but not that good.:eek:

I shot the XDs next bigger brother, the Sub Compact .40 for the first time this morning.
