Thanks all for the feedback.
Anyone put these on their CM9? With old eyes I'm thinking it's time for a fiber optic front sight. Would also put on their back black sight, opened my original rear sight because of cataracts, but...
+1
I use a strip of non-skid on the front & back grip panels, secure grip.
Got the pistol to the range yesterday & today. CM9 locks back every time with both magazines. It didn't used to with my "problem" magazine. Yesterday my "good" magazine locked back, fed, fired, &...
"Better yet, add a second CM9"
Thought of that before, but I'll wait till prices get back to "normal".
Got a new slide stop today, & there was a piece shaved off the original. Locks back now hand cycled, off to the range next week to try it out.
Makes me wonder about the rest of the CM9 components,...
Not any more, only if I push the magazine up tight.
Tried to upload a pic but it failed, wasn't that good of a pic anyway :). Looking at your pm9 pic it looks like I'm missing some metal from the section to the right of the "round part".
Thanks for the info topgun. The part of the slide stop that's sheared is on the top when looking down with the slide off, the part "behind" the rounded part.
Also noticed that the slide went up but...
Does anyone have a picture of the cm9 slide stop looking the "top" - look at front then turn down, if that makes any sense. My camera is broken or I'd post a picture.
Pistol stopped locking back...
Thanks, some things to try.
CM9 slide is not locking back after the last round. It's been locking back reliably for > 1,000 rounds & suddenly won't. I've tried a Lakeline follower, no lock back.
Ideas?
Thanks.
CM9 & PM9 are the same springs, PM9 listed.
Thanks, clears that up, got a couple of Lakelines from when I 1st bought the pistol.
I see Kahr is selling a metal follower now, is this like the Lakeline ones? Finally had to replace a follower on an original magazine & noticed the metal follower, are metal followers standard on new...
"One thing about that red paint and covering it with super glue is that it seems more fluorescent when applied to a flat surface of the sight than when put into dots.
Here's my buddy's Springfield"...
Snakes, back country fishing in FL. I don't own a small revolver & the CM9 fits nicely into my front pocket.
*** Can anyone explain to me why many times I can't post or enter a new thread? Working...
Yep, CCI blue, round tip. Was also using .45, but it's a lot easier (for me) to carry my CM9 in my front pocket when fishing the back country.
FYI, the CCI shot shells run perfectly through my CM9 (only ran 3 in a row through magazine) if anyone is interested. 3 yards was ~ max range (~ 12" diameter pattern), 5 yards opened way up. A CM9 in...
Stuck a few strips of non-skid on both sides of the Nemesis, works fine, holster stays in the pocket. Have to work the holster out of the pocket to remove but that's fine, if I'm removing the holster...
Thanks Ed, appreciated. I'll probably glue some non-slide on the Nemesis 1st (I like DIY), if that doesn't work I'll get a Mika.
Good idea, too many steps for this old guy :). What I'd actually prefer is a "loose fit" leather holster. I've got 1 for my Seecamp .32 & had 1 for a Walther PPK years ago. A friend's brother was a...
Tried the silicone spray, better but not there yet.
Anyone try gluing some type of material to a pocket holster that keeps the holster in the pocket when drawing but allows removing it fairly easy?...
Have you seen/tried the front sights with the bright sticks in them? I also see there is X Dot sights, which is a very large dot on the front sight. I'm just painting the sights with Testor flouro...
