I think you nailed it.
Nice work! I really like the slide on/ slide off plate. Do you market those commercially?
Nice review. Thanks for posting, and welcome from Colorado.
Thanks. Now back to our originally scheduled thread.😉
Greg, can you give us info on that trigger? Does it move the break point forward? Reason I ask is that I have a P40, and my trigger finger contacts my support hand before the trigger breaks.
As a general rule, it doesn’t pay to reload something like 9mm. With the current craziness, though, all bets are off. At current prices, I figure it costs $23.00 or so per hundred rounds of .45 ACP....
somebody say Winthrop? Pretty nice holster for the price.
Thanks!
I have a 40 bi tone in like new condition for sale. Three mags, two sixes and a seven. Maybe 50 rounds through it, if that. I will include a Bullard custom holster, and all the original packaging,...
FWIW, that grip, tape is sold as skateboard tape or stairtread tape, at hardware stores.

Nice score.
Congrats on the rifle, you will love it. Is it one of the red pad ones?
No slack in the trigger. BTW, prices on these are all over the map. Mind telling is what the shop is asking for this one?
I have an older one, in 45/70. Trigger is nice and crisp, probably 3 1/2 pounds. Can’t say about the new ones, but they don’t seem to be the quality of the older ones with a red recoil pad.
Great info, thanks! That little tool would have saved me a couple hours of aggravation. Making one of those will be my next project, for sure.
Any tips or tricks on reassembling the slide on a a P40? I took mine apart last night to clean the striker channel, and as far as I can see, it requires three hands and the vocabulary of a Russian...
Glad you’re stimulating the economy. Congrats
To me, the attraction of a Kahr is that it’s so slim. A double stack magazine would eliminate that advantage.
Same thing every day for as long as I have had pockets. Pocket knife and car keys, left front. Change and money clip, right front. Wallet, right rear. Used to carry a comb in the left rear, but don’t...
Thanks, Greg.,that's a pretty slick modification. Appreciate the link.
Anyone know if there’s a way t o get truly flush fitting mags for a P40?
