What info do you having on it being dropped? They still have it listed in their store (out of stock, backorder OK):...
I don't have (nor have I handled) an S9, but I do own other Kahr models is various calibers.
Only one of those did not shoot to it's sights (a P40 Covert that shot low). Have you shot your S9 from a...
Yes, barrel length is the difference. The frames are the same length.
Many argue, that a frame's grip length is the most difficult part to conceal. Thus, the Covert's supposed advantage would be...
Let me preface this by saying that I don't have any firsthand knowledge in regards to 1911 magazines working in the CT45 (or TP45).
However, I have had reason to research the use of 1911...
You mention reading a thread about this issue on a P380, was it the one where some folks resolved it by manipulating the cocking cam with a small tool (bent paper clip)?
If not, you might want to...
I suppose it's possible, but I've not seen a heaver striker spring available anywhere. FWIW, I can push my P40's striker back pretty easily using my thumbnail.
How was the trigger with the slide...
TimD56,
Can you move the slide enough to align the barrel lug with the hole in the frame?
I ask because I think you need to reset the trigger. You can normally do this by just pushing the slide...
I think if it's causing the problem you describe, it is likely broken.
In any case, give the striker parts a good cleaning (to include the tunnel in the slide). No lube upon reassembly.

Nice rig :)
Everything looks in excellent shape to me. Congrats on the new acquisition :)

:)
How's the trigger with the slide removed?
If it's good that way, my first thought would be to check the striker spring.
Redwood,
It's been my experience that the Lakeline follower does improve feeding, but agree with others that the pistol should perform better than what you are seeing with stock magazines.
Give...
I liked that, thanks!
I hadn't thought about it before, but now I do think everybody should probably have one. So, darn you 340pd, at that price and feature set I had to order one. Brass or copper, that's my dilemma now,...
Too late for me. Once I decided to cave in on the flashlight wants, I went all in and got a knife I've wanted for a while (but don't really need).

LOL, I here ya! Dura-glit, then Brasso was the polish of choice in my day. If I remember correctly we got a can of the wadding type with our initial issue.
Darn, these threads are dangerous...to the wallet;)
I decided I couldn't live without a copper or brass flashlight, so here's my new Limited Edition, Dual-Output, AAA, Olight I3T EOS Cu flashlight...
Redwood,
Some questions and suggestions:
Can you fully cycle the slide by hand with no rounds in the gun? Can you make it hang up when manually working the slide?
Does it ever fail to chamber the...
MagGuts site still has the PM kits listed as "This product is coming soon!".
Darn, that's what I meant, Solo EVOlved. Don't know where that Echo came from...came from.
Well. their first shot at Kahr's niche didn't work out that well.
Is this the Echo EVOlved?
I'm totally on-board with you Colonel. I'm simply loving the P210A so far.
I let another friend shoot it today. He fired a magazines worth from 15 yards, shooting two handed while standing. If I...
Sorry MB, that second light is AA (or 14500), not AAA.
I've edited my original post to reflect that.

Greg
Beautiful knife! Russell was a class act
Colonel suh! You've been holding out on us:mad:
Fabulous work on all of them, but I really like the two above. The bottom one looks like a Nepali/Bawanna...
