I think he was pointing out that the numbers you quoted were fps, not ft/lbs, rather than where it was measured.
For ft/lbs out of a 2 inch barrel the numbers are more like 3-400, not 7-900.

Very insightful. Thank you.
I would gladly pay a few dollars more for a captured spring assembly. I just spent way too long wrestling with mine this morning. New P380 springs. Wasn't that the end was sticking out, but the ...
Has anyone noticed a change in the P380 recoil springs? I bought a new P380 and some new recoil springs. The springs in the new P380 and the replacement springs are the same as each other, but both...
I also find the p380 so much easier to carry.
If you can post here, you can find .380

I love my P380 but it always bugged me that it is harder to disassemble and pull the extractor or clean the striker channel than say my Glocks or a 1911. There have been some great suggestions here...
OK, I read that as breast feeding. Time to lay off the Silver Oak tonight, but I am still somewhat disappointed.
Yes, I think you are right. When I aligned the mags with the grips the P380 may have been a hair steeper but that adjustment brought them much closer.
Thanks!
Back the the question: Why the steep feed angle? What does this accomplish or allow elsewhere?
My Glocks eat everything and so far I've yet to have one failure in a thousand rounds or so with the LCP, but I'm not a hater, I have 2 P380s and had a PM9 I liked. But that's what I want to...
OK, so I had heard about it on the internet but had not seen it, kind of like UFOs or something. But I am a believer now- my newer P380 had been running great until I tried feeding it some new...

Try google for more.
I've used an Uplula. Not perfect but does work if you already have one.
Actually in that thread a couple of posts bitched about the Glock 36.
I love my P380s but Kahrs did come up a lot in the worst gun owned list here (in the 11 pages so far):

Dihydrogen monoxide maybe?
Thanks for the replies. To close the loop I ended up with one of these (p500). More expensive and complicated than my Glock pusher but flexible enogh to scale down to a p380 slide

I have two of the new 2013 LCPs. I think of them as the AK-47s of my mouse guns. Not as precise or well made as my P380s but so far 100% reliable (and a slight fraction easier to pocket too).
PS - has anyone found a sight pusher that works well on front sights?
Anyone have any good tips on adjusting a front dovetail? Bought another P380 and it runs like a clock from round 1 but the sights are a little off. Tried using a hammer and punch and then a hammer...
I like the new model. I didn't keep my first one more than a couple of weeks, but I like the new version enough that I bought 2.
Whatever happened to the Elsie Pea forum? Seems to have blown up and the members scattered.
What shooting stance do I need for my J frame to work? :p
Obviously you have to have some kind of grip on it but any gun sensitive to stance would not make it in my collection.
Maybe this is old news but it was a revelation to me. My favorite carry gun fits perfectly in my favorite holster.

I just tried a box of Buffalo Bore Barnes ammo and no problems feeding but the accuracy was horrible. So I am going to stick the Federal ball rounds I've been using that might be slower but all fit...
I like the stats of the BB +Ps but I just ran a box through my P380 and the accuracy sucked. Not sure why the pattern opened up so much, but it was no where close to the standard Federal rounds I...
