In my experience...
Mild target loads normally don't need trim.
HOWEVER
Hot loads and first fired brass may need trimming. .. I always check case length after cleaning and before loading.

Agree with Bawanna. I have also used 7 round old military mags after a small dremel work at top of lock hole

Have both.... Although the Dimensions are close... The 40 is nicer in pocket carry (preference) BUT carry the 45 daily... Just like the old 45ACP.. :-)

My 2cents.....I had responded before on loaded chamber carry... Not changed But...what is called Israeli carry was called the SAS Draw 4years all the time they used the Browning Hi Power...
