Still waiting on that permit :(
Wow, really great work!
Very nice! Do you make grips for the K9? I'm looking for wood grips for my K9 and only see the 2 options from Hogue offered. Sorry if this was covered already in the thread - 50 pages is a lot to...
I have quite a few colleagues that work remotely in Utah. I love Utah and spent about 2 weeks there last summer on a cross country road tip / ATV adventure. Marysvalle and Moab were two of my...
Should be that way here too but unfortunately the state has just become far too liberal.
Long guns are a different story. I can walk into a shop and walked out with a rifle after a quick...
Ugh that makes me so bummed out to live in New York. I'd love to move to a different state (Vermont is one of the most gun friendly states and right next door) but all mine and my wife's family lives...
Well said lowroad. We have a tough time here in NY state. Even worse, each county can make their own rules regarding how they give permits. The county judge is the one single person that can deny you...
I had a change of heart and switched my future pistol from the TP9 to a K9.
Still love that TP9 with the short grip but the shop had a used K9 and it just felt right to me.
Hey guys,
Just visited the gun shop with a friend so we could fondle my Kahr. It's been over a month since I posted this thread and I'm still waiting on that permit and probably have another 4...
Should I be shopping for holsters made for the TP9 or the P9? This is my first pistol so I'm new to this.
Remember, the grip is the size of a p9 and the slide is TP9 length.
I think that most...
Hilarious BBQ gun! Probably illegal in NY because it can hold more than 10 rounds. If I had more expendable income and lived in a different state I would get this just for fun.
Congrats! Wish I only had to wait 9 days to get my first pistol. I'm looking at a 4-6 month wait.
I liked the first episode of this season.
**Spoiler**
Interesting to see 2 people get eliminated right away. That would really suck to get knocked out within the first 15 minutes of...
My first job was washing dishes at a restaurant for I think $5/hour. I didn't realize at the time how awesome this was, but I was paid under the table.
Have you held the ppq yet? When I was trying out guns the other day the guy at the shop gave me a ppq to hold and I really didn't like where they put the mag release. With my grip I couldn't reach it...
According to this serial number history thread and the receipt for my Kahr with the serial number, I have YD13xx - TP9 - Apr 2007.
Thank you very much for the info!
Interesting. Was that done at the factory?
Look at this archive post from this forum.

And I think that I read somewhere that the TP9 slide will...
Hey guys, I just bought my first pistol but unfortunately I can't take it home quite yet.
The gun is used but looks like it was never shot. I'm looking at pictures on the Kahr website and the TP9...
It's ok, you aren't the first and you won't be the last :). I live near Saratoga Springs and we have a pretty cool battlefield area from the Revolutionary War. They called the Battle of Saratoga one...
Ahh so typical from people not from the North East. You do know that New York is more than just one big city, right? :) I live way up in the country about 4 hours from New York city. Actually,...
Interesting. I just found this link --> http://unreadbits.blogspot.com/2006/03/kahr-tp9-review.html
Look at the Update at the bottom. He talks about how the grip length has been increased by .5...
Yeah tell me about it. In my county I have to buy the pistol before I can even submit the paperwork for my permit. How much sense does that make? The local judge can then take up to 6 months to issue...
I just bought my first pistol which just so happens to be a Kahr TP9. It is a used gun that looks brand new. The cost was $449 which I think is pretty good. The funny thing is that the grip seems...
