Don't know if there is really any advantage but I have one in my K9. Seems like they should just come with it since the rest o the gun is stainless.

I'm continuing the process of reducing my gun collection down to the bare minimum. I haven't carried my PM9 for a very long time so I'm selling it. Before I list it on Gunbroker I figured I'd see if...
Where are you located? I'm trying to avoid shipping and do face to face if possible
I've sold off the last of my .45 pistols and now have no use for my remaining .45 ammo.
I'm located in S/W Ohio and would prefer to do a face to face to avoid the shipping hassles. I'm also open to...
I think Kahr is being hurt by some of the newer guns out there like the Sig P365 and 365XL. Similar or smaller size but higher capacity. The K9 with 10+1 capacity would be perfect in my book.
Or just sell it on GunBroker yourself. I've done that a few times and always got what I was expecting to get and once even more than I was expecting (auction).
Have you decided on what color Cerakote you'll go with?
Yeah, I'm really thinking I'll do it. I even ordered some color samples direct from Cerakote. They're free but you have to pay for shipping.
I like the Cerakote finish but wouldn't want the slide porting and the engraving is tacky in my opinion. For about $150 I'm tempted to get mine Cerakoted though.

With the current situation and the all the stay at home/work from home orders and the boredom that comes with it I figured I'd add to this old thread.
I bought my PM9 almost exactly 9 years ago. In...

It's all relative.

HK P2000 is not really that much bigger than the K9 but it holds almost twice as many rounds. Not difficult to conceal at all. I will concede that the K9, being a little thinner, is a bit...
I pretty sure they're a proprietary stainless steel but they still plate them.
What model is the Alessi?
I appreciate you taking the time to do these tests and look forward to the K9 results.
Did you find much if any difference in felt recoil between the 124 and 147 HST rounds? I have a bunch of 124...
There is no practical reason to prefer the old version over the new one that I'm aware of except perhaps the fact that it's less common. It does nothing any better or worse than the newer version.
The HK45 is is approved for +P+ ammo use.
Buy the K9. It's a solid, substantial gun with a nice heft that the polymer guns don't have. I have quite a few guns but my K9 would be one of the last that I would consider getting rid of.
And like...
There are a few states with no state income tax and no state sales tax including New Hampshire where I used to live. I miss that place....
I put skateboard tape on my front strap and it works extremely well.
My Kahrs have all be very reliable. My first K9 had over 700 rounds through it without a malfunction when I sold it.
My PM9 had just a couple of malfunctions in the very beginning but hasn't had any...
I think the accuracy issue is something you could work out. The PM9 itself is an inherently accurate gun for it's size. With enough practice there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to improve...
How many rounds did you have through your K40 before the frame cracked? I think that is a rarity but on the other hand I don't know how many high round count K40's there are out there.
