Marshall, I doubt you'll see that problem on yours. FYI my P9 with the walking pin problem is probably 8-10 years old. I think they've completely conquered that issue years ago. It's probably why...

Sorry - this thread is two years old and I never did follow up on how I solved the problem of the "walking" trigger pin. I took the gun back from the person I sold it to and called Kahr explaining...
Please delete this post....
I plan to do that - once I "prove" it I intend to carry it. Kahrs are great carry pieces, especially in summer and the days of less clothing and I prefer the larger caliber when I can carry it. I...
I recently bought a used (2010 model) P45 from a Guns America dealer. When I got it it appeared to be in good shape but when I went to the range to shoot it, the extractor, spring and both pins fell...
Thanks to everyone for the help - thanks to larryz for the tip on how he got his date.
From Kahr: SB1022 P45 was January, 2010.
Thanks to larryz for the tip - Jay got right back to me.
SB1022 - P45 - January, 2010 (purchased used)
I've shot the steel and aluminum ammo too but not in my Kahrs.
FYI, from the Q&A section of the Kahr site:
Q. Which ammunition is recommended for use with Kahr firearms?
A. Kahr Arms does...
Thanks, yqtszhj. I've definitely got something wrong with the extractor. Somewhere between the range and getting home the extractor fell out - I haven't been able to find it so I don't know exactly...
Now I've shot the above-mentioned P45. It shoots fine but has an extraction (probably extractor) problem - the gun fails to feed the next round (and jams, of course) because the previous empty case...
I've bought a used P45 - s/n SB1022 - and I'm trying to find out the production year. Does anyone know of an up-to-date Kahr s/n list? I've searched the internet including the lists that are posted...
Update on the trip to Kahr, I sent it on October 24, got it back exactly 3 weeks later with only an invoice (no charge) that they replaced the trigger spring and trigger pivot pin. I didn't try it...
Nice work. Thanks for the examples. When I get it back from Kahr I may just send the slide off to them and get them to do it.
I'll probably have to do something like that - there doesn't seem to be a lot of black Kahr slides around. I had to order my PM9 with black slide to get one. Have you used Ahlmans? - the site you...
It's a nice thing, respect. My dad taught me respect, "yes sir" and "no maam," and number of other respectful ways to act and tanned my hide when I "forgot."
I'm afraid it's a dying trait in...
Good to know, and good to see a little respect in life. ;)
Well, I tapped it out, cleaned the area with Gun Scrubber, dried it completely and put "permanent" Loctite on it before driving it back into position. After only 16 rounds at the range this am the...
Thanks, John. Good to have the answer. Great forum though! I don't know if the Administrator is the person for that compliment but, if not, will you pass it on?
Thanks again,
John

I don't know what a PMJ9 is. PM9, yes - PMJ9 = ?
Fingers crossed, Jocko. Tell me how you got 32,000 rounds through your PM9! That's a lot of shooting. You must be a ****** ( and that's a compliment) with that pistol!
They ARE great pistols...
No problem, Jocko. It's already glued and bagged for the range tomorrow. ;)
Jocko, I confused the situation by bringing my PM9 into the conversation - it's the one with the trigger pin that doesn't move. In the OP, I was talking about a P9 - it's trigger pin moves very...
I just spoke with a the tech dept. at Kahr and a very helpful (but not very informative) man gave me a return auth. number and told me to send the P9 back to them and they'd see how to deal with it. ...
Is there a change that I can make to change the tread titles (on pages like "New Posts" or the categories on the forum home page) from red to a "softer" color? I find the red a little tiring to look...
OK, thanks.
