I use the Tetra grease a lot on most of my guns. It sticks where I put it unlike oil on some areas. I use it because it is handy and a tube lasts a long time for me. I think any lube works, no...

Thanks for those pics JimC, Looks like the rampectomies preformed by some of us owners. It is good to have the comparison.
S281 I would bet your gun will run better than it ever has. Mine looks like yours and I have put several hundred rounds through it after the adjustment with no fail to feed or accuracy issues at...
Nice job S281. And nice pics.
Great pic Greg, thanks for posting it.
CM45 sounds interesting, but I will not be a beta tester for one of those. I will be waiting for a couple of years before I jump on that one. For those who like to jump in early, I will be looking...
We think alike modraker. Kahr had their chance to get it right before they sent it out for sale. They failed. From what I see, no part of the bullet ever comes close to touching the feed ramp in...
I made a feeler gauge out of some thick paper. I used some construction paper. Reduce the ramp until the paper will slide between the follower and the feed ramp when the barrel is back in it's most...
"You may have to send your gun in for a "rampectomy". Maybe some day Kahr will actually check this at the factory before sending guns out so that a customer's first experience with their product...
I would suggest keeping an eye on your mag followers and the nut on the end of the recoil spring assembly. My CM9 is very reliable and accurate for me but had some issues with the followers and...
Thanks for the replies everyone. I appreciate your taking the time to help me out. I don't have concerns any longer about the low shooting. I will now be in the serious hunt for that CW45.
Hey Bawanna, my wife is a left hander but she doesn't shoot my Kahrs so I guess that is ok. I thank the creator for spel chek or I couldn't type very well either.
Thanks for the reply Muggsy, The reviewers were using std 230 grain hard ball and the gun was shooting 6" low at 20 feet. My currently owned Kahrs shoot to point of aim for me, at least no more...
I have an E9 that had a case blow out in the same spot as the OP picture. I was lucky that it just blew the extractor and spring out, broke the back off of a follower and no other damage. I replaced...
Getting ready to purchase a CW45 to go along with my CM9 and E9. After watching a few YouTube reviews, it seems the CW45 has a tendency to shoot low for some of the reviewers. I would guess that it...
Where did you get the screws that you used to hold the holster together? I get my Kydex stuff from Knife Kits . com but I don't remember seeing that fastener on their site.
Thanks
59allstate, does your E9 have the poly rifled barrel? The one I have does. I "thought" the E series had conventional rifling like the CM and CW series.
Great lookin CM. Having it your way is good. It's not always about money, it's about having what YOU want, and it looks like you have succeeded.
Maybe we need a thread called "Kahrs with Character". Not sure which forum it should be in, but honest wear looks good on a gun to me.
Looks great! Looking forward to seeing how it looks with the new sights.
Yep, no free parts, but I am not complaining. The gun was made in 1998 and by the looks of it has been shot a lot. I don't mind putting a few bucks into it to keep it going.
It has some nice...
Reload Muggsy. Same load I have been shooting in all of my 9mms for about 30 years. 4gr Red Dot with a 125gr lead bullet. Probably a case that has been reloaded one too many times.
Had my E9 out at the range today. Pulled the trigger and felt a gust of wind on my hand, and a different sound to the shot. I had a case fail. Blew out the extractor and that was the only damage. ...
Thanks Jocko, I will try what you have suggested. I didn't know if Kahr may have changed the triggers at a later time to eliminate that situation
I like the two Kahrs that I have. The E9 does not have the trigger that my CM9 has. Kind of gritty towards the end of the travel. I might call Kahr and see if there is something I can upgrade to...
