Why not make steel magazine followers? I know several years ago some of their magazines had steel instead of hard brittle polymer/plastic.

Buy an all steel Kahr, especially if buying used.
A .380 bounced off a hard head.
Nice looking gun but I bet that bad boy will rust just looking at it in this weather.
I frequently carry a K-40 in my narcotics assignment. I also have a P-40 that I will use once I have a few more rounds thru it.
I think the 9mm Federal 9bple plus P Plus runs around 1170 fps. I DON'T CONSIDER THAT PLUS P PLUS. HECK REGULAR 9MM SHOULD RUN THAT FAST IF THEY WOULD LOAD IT RIGHT
Decided to try a P-40 with the DLC finish. I fired 19 rounds thru it just testing it out and it functioned perfect. I had a bad experience with a CW-40 and am a little skeptical with the P-40 but it...
If we shoot at someone from 50 yards you can bet there will be no question about the need. There have been a couple of incidents thru the years where longer shots have been necessary with us. It was...
My last qual I shot a 92 with the K-40 and we start at the 50 yard line prone and are timed. The recoil is tamer with the K-9 but not a problem with the K-40. I plan on maybe trying a P-40 but I am...
I checked the weight difference between my K-40 and K-9 and Kahr shows approximately 1 ounce difference. I carry with a Sparks Summer special and the K-9 feels more comfortable. Is this just my...
K-9,K-40 & PM9 here. I prefer the all steel Kahr's myself and my next one will either be one of the OLD blue ones or a black stainless.
Got a refund on the CW-40 from Bud's and got a K-9.
Well I have to give Bud's credit they gave a full refund on the CW-40 and I picked a K-9 with an AR12XX serial number. I can't find a manufacturing year in the list for AR 12XX but I think it is late...
I'm guessing they wanted the HEAVY trigger in the Kahrs and they naturally lighten with use. WHO knows? Why don't they allow Ruger SP101's any longer? I'm sure an SP101 is about as problem free a...
Kahr sent it back with a new slide stop. After 40 rounds it did it again AND broke off the front of the magazine follower. VERY disappointed in this CW40. I think I will stick to all steel Kahr's.
I had some malfunctions with my CW-40 which was sent in and Kahr replaced the slide lock which they said was not the right one?? Anyway, after shooting a little I noticed the front of the magazine...
I'd pick the K-9 EXCEPT during summer months (June,July,August). Real hot weather I'd pick an LCP. Oops thats not one of the choices.
I owned a Kel-Tec and it was a POS. FTF,FTE,double feed. You name it (Malfunctions) and it did it. I don't think I should have to fluff and buff a defensive firearm to get it to MAYBE work. My PM9...
I suspect that the early Kahrs bought were the carbon steel blue. I think with just a little maintenance rust would not be a real problem. BUT I know MANY Cops just shoot em carry em and rarely wipe...
I removed the magazine each time it locked up and Bud's actually sent it back without a magazine in it and completely locked to the rear with the slide stop NOT ENGAGED. The first time it di this and...
I recently bought a used but excellent condition CW-40 from Bud's. After a couple of hundred rounds (It didnt look like it had been fired) I have the slide locking to the rear and it is not the slide...
I believe it was Officer purchased and not NYPD purchased. Just on the approved list. I am guessing internal politics played a role.
I have yet to get a straight answer as to why NYPD ditched the Kahr K-9 and would like to know the answer. I have heard the various parts breakage, rust, & trigger lightens with use. Anyone know the...
