a lot of truth in that - on most of the little "upgrades" i've done on my firearms over the years i haven't really seen a huge difference in performance - i have 3 Ruger GP100's and the SA on them...
i changed out my plastic striker guide rod for a stainless steel rod - i've had no issues with it but it hasn't been that long either since the changeout - while i was on the phone yesterday with...
i actually prefer my Galloway Precision base extension versus the normal 6 round flat magazine - maybe not as cosmetically good looking like the Pearce pinky finger base but it'll hold that extra...
i had a similar line of thinking - i have the Galloway Precision +1 extension - makes my 6 a 7 - i don't see why one couldn't buy the 7 round MagGuts components and using it with that to obtain 8...
just got an email from MagGuts informing me that they "hope" to have the CM9 MagGut components on the market by next week - we'll see :)
I've seen a few reviews on YouTube with shooters using Magguts on their Kahr 380's - i would say they've been pretty positive up to now and it makes sense - they're basically using a smaller follower...
i have a few Kahr 7 rounds magazines - haven't had any issues but i've really polished up the feed ramp maybe that helped
im waiting to see how things pan out with Magguts too - they're working on...
I see, there really isn't much to that ledge for the guide rod to rest on so i can buy into it easily slipping down a bit - honestly the resting ledge on my barrel is almost non existent and i have...

I'm gonna take your advice and try that next time this happens to me - might save me from having to remove the slide and start all over again - usually when it was sticking out like that i would...
yes, i always make sure the end of the spring coil is oriented up in the frame, as you suggested
My CM9 has dual captive recoil springs - i have a theory that when reassembling the slide onto...
I've had this happen a couple of times to me after reassembling my CM9 - i don't find myself doing anything different when putting everything together but after connecting the slide and pulling it...
so guys, i went ahead and ordered one from their site - they actually have one specifically tailored for the Kahr series single stack magazines - it arrived on Saturday and i've been tinkering with...
i knew you would have the answer for me :)
thx
quick question
when reassembling the magazine after taking it apart does it matter which end of the spring goes up into the follower?
when i took mine apart both ends like fairly identical and...
the trigger pull on my Kahr has to be one of the best DA pulls for any firearm i've owned - very smooth, i did install a 5 lbs spring from Wolf - didn't see a need for that even though i did it -...
thanks for the replies - im going to look into some of these alternative too
meanwhile, i got a little creative with one of my Uplula's and dug out some old cardboard and duct tape - made a little...
i have 2 Uplula's - both work exceptional well with my double stack magazines and i can even navigate it with my single stacks if i line everything up correctly - the constant opening and closing of...
i have about 6 magazines for my Kahr CM9 - i also have arthritis in my finger joints and wrist
im looking for an alternative way of loading my magazines and saw this type of thumbless speedloader...
Well FedEx just delivered the frame with the new trigger installed - without hesitation i can say that the work performed by Kahr was nothing short of perfect - here's how the finished product looks...
my 84f used to be my carry firearm way back - my brother gave it to me in 1990 but the 92fs was my first actual Beretta purchase. As 9mm's became more and more concealable it somewhat became more...
i lived in Italy back in the early 80's and my wife is from Italy - I met her at a little beach side resort town just north of Rome (Castiglione della Pescaia) - we try to get back out there every...
my Beretta 92 has history with me - it was the first Beretta firearm that i ever purchased - that was back in 2008 and since I've added their Cheetah, Cougar and a Px4 to my small collection, all...
