My dog and I call this: "The call of the wild", often found where dogs are excited.
So, all this discussion about Desert Iron wood, caught my attention. Per many points on the internet. Hickory is the hardest wood, native to North America.
I have encountered many tools with...
They used to use urine to tan animal skins, so families used to all pee in a pot & then once a day it was taken & sold to the tannery. If you had to do this to survive you were “piss poor.”
But...
And....if you're female, you get sniffed at no additional charge.
I have stuck to the original base plates on my K9 and K40, it is one of the rare Kahr magazine/pistol combos that seems to fit sort of decent. I always assumed (I know), it was because the K9 was...
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
On a side note, my blade smith, thinks Arizona is going to start protecting Iron Wood, and prohibiting sales.
Have not researched it, so not sure about...
WOW, I would love to have Walrus tooth grips of any size 1911. I don't own an officer model, but if the grips came along, I would buy one.
The glock finger grooves never fit my hand, I own two gen3's, always wanted a gen2, because of the finger grooves. Then...a local gun shop started doing stippling. Had them remove the finger grips on...

Last week, we took some friends out to a new restaurant, and noticed that the waiter who took our order carried a spoon in his shirt pocket. It seemed a little strange.
When the waiter brought our...
My custom "petty chef" kitchen knife is ready. My first ever custom knife.
Blade smith (www.flatrockforge.com) sent a couple of photos. 5" blade made from AEB-L stainless. Most Chef Knives are 7",...

A guy in my little hometown, had an Opal, with a shoe horned V8 in it. Looked like a mini-corvette. It was very good looking, not sure how it preformed.

So...to keep my hand from hurting, I need to practice more, which cost more for ammo.
Should I start a go-fund-me to alleviate my hand soreness?...
So as I posted in another thread. I shot 100 rounds at a local range, 50 rounds of 180 grn .40 hollow points (not +p), and 50 rounds of 158 grn .357 Magnums.
The next day, the web of my strong side...
