Interesting. Mine has the tapered end. I wonder when the transition was made to the 2-piece design?
I have the old style slide stop which I think is two piece. You can see where the two pieces are attached but maybe that's some sort of casting mark?
My guess is if it is two piece, the piece that...
The one thing I miss about my 1911's are the triggers. Hard to beat. I have a CZ SP01 that I had Cajun Gun Works do their thing on and the S/A trigger is pretty close to my 1911's. No safety, just a...
Back when I was in my 1911 phase, I had both a Wilson and a Springfield Pro. The Wilson had 30 LPI checkering and the Pro had 20 LPI. I greatly preferred the 20. Some people complain that it's too...
I'd like to have my front strap checkered. Maybe someday, but for now skateboard tape works very well for a more secure grip.
My account somehow got messed up and for unknown reasons I was unable to log in since late 2021. I never bothered to do anything about it until recently when I got a couple of very helpful members...
I never pocket carry the PM9 since it's too big for that in my opinion. For pocket carry I have a Seacamp. I did switch from the PM9 to the P365 and...
So did you ever get the K9 melted and cerakoted?
Don't know if there is really any advantage but I have one in my K9. Seems like they should just come with it since the rest o the gun is stainless.
A few more photos as requested.

I'm continuing the process of reducing my gun collection down to the bare minimum. I haven't carried my PM9 for a very long time so I'm selling it. Before I list it on Gunbroker I figured I'd see if...
Where are you located? I'm trying to avoid shipping and do face to face if possible
I've sold off the last of my .45 pistols and now have no use for my remaining .45 ammo.
I'm located in S/W Ohio and would prefer to do a face to face to avoid the shipping hassles. I'm also open to...
I think Kahr is being hurt by some of the newer guns out there like the Sig P365 and 365XL. Similar or smaller size but higher capacity. The K9 with 10+1 capacity would be perfect in my book.
Or just sell it on GunBroker yourself. I've done that a few times and always got what I was expecting to get and once even more than I was expecting (auction).
Have you decided on what color Cerakote you'll go with?
Yeah, I'm really thinking I'll do it. I even ordered some color samples direct from Cerakote. They're free but you have to pay for shipping.
I like the Cerakote finish but wouldn't want the slide porting and the engraving is tacky in my opinion. For about $150 I'm tempted to get mine Cerakoted though.

With the current situation and the all the stay at home/work from home orders and the boredom that comes with it I figured I'd add to this old thread.
I bought my PM9 almost exactly 9 years ago. In...

It's all relative.

HK P2000 is not really that much bigger than the K9 but it holds almost twice as many rounds. Not difficult to conceal at all. I will concede that the K9, being a little thinner, is a bit...
I pretty sure they're a proprietary stainless steel but they still plate them.
What model is the Alessi?
