well I would say that if a pistol has no history of failures then 200 rounds would be a fair test. :cool:
I own 7 handguns and shoot them all on a regular basis so yes it is true that I am going to shoot it anyway.it is also true that a 500 round break in period is excessive.

well after 500 rounds my tp40 is finally starting to run properly and I am feeling okay about carrying it.if it wasn't for the fact that I like it so much

I have finally reached the point where I am feeling comfortable enough to carry my tp9.it has been a tough one to break in and I am now at 500 rounds through it.it took way more then the recommended...

420 rounds into my tp40 and it is still not 100% reliable. I would say it is now about 96% reliable.have tried 6 or 7 different brands and bullet types to date.so far it
functions best with 165 gr....

between your choices I would pick the walther but my favorite is the smith m&p .22 compact
