I saw this in the news this morning and came here to post it. Yet another case of a politician thinking they are better than the people they are supposed to be serving, yet serving only themselves.

That looks cool! I have to download this app now! Thanks Rev
Wow, I never knew anyone actually made that round. $20-$25 a box of 50 is pretty pricy though. Kind of looses some of its appeal at those prices. Also those are soft core which also looses some...
Or something similar (yet not as cheap and a softer bullet) is the 22TCM by Armscor (Rock Island Armory). They make a 1911 that comes with a 22TCM barrel and a 9mm barrel at a really good price. ...
The issue is that the ammo is not really "readily available" (ie. new manufactured ammo in US and around the world)... only surplus stuff. And it seems even that might be a little less readily...
What a nice looking family. Keep us posted on that intriguing night sight combo.
Also, how does the magnaported .40 compare to a non-ported 9mm?
My family is a little bigger than I care to admit. And they are a little shy lately.
Oh, no doubt about it... I will be buying.
;)
Nice work John!
I like that Colt the way it is, BUT, that is a cool idea to breathe some new life into some cheap old 1911.
It was a well-thought-out essay "Why Good People Should Be Armed", that used common sense statements to build her case. Building to the ultimate reason the 2A exists.
I thought it was pretty...
I've used it for the past year and got some pretty good deals. They moved servers a few months ago, so it wasn't really working well (only had a few calibers). During that time I found wikiarms.com...
Get a smaller label. The firemen won't get close enough to see it.
Look at the bright side... it is not as risky as a covert grip chop on a polymer gun!
My K9 has the same rubberized grips (the nicer ones!). I was thinking you drill through the plastic and rubber with the small drill bit, then use a bigger punch to slice through the rubber layer on...
That's awesome!
If you can find a sharp round piece of metal (maybe leather tooling), you could punch the hole through the rubber. I don't think drilling the rubber will work. If you can't find a punch, then...
Use low speed to cut plastic. Do a practice cut lower than your line.
Maybe consider a fine toothed coping saw instead. Harbor Freight has one for $6. I've never cut a grip before, but...
I feel your pain. When I changed out my striker springs, I thought the same thing. But it doesn't do anything but guide the spring. There is no side load on it. I did think of making one out of...
P.S. My safe is already packed and there is still more stuff to try to smash in there. The moral... Buy bigger! For me this is ok for now, because it fit the bill for the time being while I save up...
This is from UL's website about what Burglary Classifications mean... Below are just two more common classifications you will see in this price range and a bit higher... My cheap safe above is...
I've been heavily researching safes of all calibers for about a year now. I have it narrowed down to what I want/need, but I need to save up for that (plus my collection keeps getting bigger). ;)

Here is some Wikipedia information about the technology in general... Pretty interesting. And, yes, it does make you think where the technology is heading and the implications of it.
...
Could be faked, but it could be that multiple cameras take a photo of a large scene then software automatically combines the photos. This technology already exists. It is automatic "chop chop", and...
1) The problem is that they already started watching computer and phone (in a way), and eventually it will become more intrusive. It has, and it will. Anyone is in denial if they don't think it is...
