The delta seems to be between 50 - 100 FPS on average, with the lighter bullet weights seeing a bigger change (between 3" and 4" for 9mm).

Note that the M&P Compact used in the Lucky Gunner tests has a 4" barrel, vs 3.1" for our CM/PM 9's, which is near a 25% increase etc, so velocity is improved to some degree via the longer barrel.
I'll be the contrarian, in that I use 124 gr +P Hornady XTP in my PM9, as I believe velocity aids expansion, and expansion not only helps to guard against over penetration, it also can hit harder...
+1 on this, did it with my new PM9 and could really feel it loosen up and smooth out during the process.
Later when I got to the range, ran as it should (though I don't use steel cased ammo?).
I have the LaserMax CenterFire Laser on my PM9, works great through hundreds of rounds so far.
RIP Dusty, one of the greats!
By all means, please report your results!
Thx...
Good data point, thanks.
Looking forward to hearing about the MagGut's reliability after being stored loaded over time etc? Please update us after testing @Bawanna.
The smoothing and dry lubricant ideas sound good too.

Thanks for the post, appreciate the testing!
See Post #2 above, as it appears to me as well that you can cure this easily with a slight tweak of the MagGuts follower's vertical tab etc.
Hi all, ok, I finally hit the range, and the MagGuts mags both worked flawlessly. It's certainly nice having "one more" LOL!
I've decided to leave things as they are as I'll be using the flush mag...
You're welcome, looking forward to your reports as well, and great to hear the MagGuts stuff is working well in the Glock.
I hope to hit the range next week.
Hi, thank you for the reply, will try what you're describing above!
FYI, MagGuts has been responsive via email for me, and they said the followers/springs are designed to store loaded. That said,...
Hi all, just installed MagGuts +1 in both 6 and 7 round mags, and I noticed the following without hitting the range yet...
a) The 6 (now 7) round flush mag will hold the slide back with the OEM...
Not by choice LOL! In our case in the SF Bay Area CA, the fires closed the outdoor ranges while COVID closed the indoor ranges, so we were out of luck for a while. The outdoor ranges opened a while...
Ha, well, this has certainly taken a while LOL!
It's now April of the 2021, my wife and I have had our vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna, no issues), and FINALLY, our local indoor range has reopened...
Geez, local ranges booked into Oct, so this might take a while, though hoping for a cancellation etc?
At least the air is breathable again, Thanks God for that (local fires pretty much contained...
Will do, thanks again all!
Thanks everyone, appreciate the help, and yes the mags do appear to lock in fine, so I'm guessing it's ready to go.
Waiting for the smoke to clear and the AQI to improve so I can visit our only...
Thanks gentlemen, appreciate the help, and glad to be here (was looking for either a PM9 or MK9 out here on the west coast for a while)!
Thanks again dao, much appreciated!
Ok, tested some more and the issue is this, the mags don't seat high enough to push the slide lock to it's maximum upwards position.
Here's the way all of...
Thank you dao, appreciate the help.
All three mags behave the same, so I'm thinking it's just tight, so I'll put some rounds down range when I can, and prior to that I'll continue to work it...
Speaking of Slide Stops, my new to me PM9 (unknown round count, though it looks to be pretty new?), locks back ok, but I notice that I can push the slide stop after it's locked back on it's own, up...
