Hey Jeep, the Kimber Micro 9 8rd mags are a direct replacement for the Sig mags. How did you get 8rds in your 938 mag?
How about trying the CW springs in the P?
Dayum
I was pointing out the DA/SA trigger on that to kenemoore since he compared it to a 1911. Not really like a 1911 in DA/SA because even the small amount of takeup in SA is probably longer than a...
That particular P226 isn't an SAO. SA trigger pull is probably 1911-ish but only after the take up. Still, I'd carry it before the FNX. Either way though it would be hard to go wrong. Nice guns both.
Bill Ruger and Big Daddy Garlits. You guys rub shoulders with the best of the best. Thanks for sharing!
Better since I put a lighter hammerspring in it. DA is just under 8lbs now. Smooth throughout but long. Crisp break. SA is just under 4lbs, short and crisp but quite a lot of take up.
I'm just the...
I hear they have excellent customer service too. Hope I never need it :)
America, sometimes shortened to 'murka Colonel.
It's solely a P345 issue, the other P-Series guns are put together differently. I've seen it discussed in some of the reviews from back when the...
If I was going to do a flag on my 1911 it would look like that. Not really distressed, but muted enough to look good without being glaring. I like it.
I've been scanning the web for info on this. Ruger apparently had a bunch of returns early on because they did not include the following caution, shown in red below and in the manual itself in the...
Thanks Guys. It's an odd duck gun, though in very nice shape, at least from what I can see. More on that below.
Something I do with any gun I buy is to measure the grips front to back (F2B), and...
Ruger P345D - Decocker only. 8+1 single stack .45acp. The last of Ruger's P-Series, hammer-fired models. Also the slimmest. It is the most complex/complicated pistol I've ever owned. When the...
Happy B'day jd
Thanks for the chuckle :D
My apologies Colonel, I thought sure I had sent you a PM about the grips you checkered for me. Went back and couldn't find it in my Sent folder though. You have mail now. For sure :)
Welcome back Colonel. You have mail. :)
That is a special letter king. I'm sure you are proud, and you should be!
Sounds like fun and crazy times bb
Amen!
I ran out of gas once, went to the gas station and picked some up. This was at night. My '69 Javelin had the spout behind the license plate. As I was filling it up I spilled some because the spout on...
Yes that is nice. Gotta love the Centurion, compact slide and barrel, full size grip. And Beretta's smooth as butter action. And Langdon just makes it all even better. Congrats jeep!

Though Klinger was straight as could be, and one of the best characters on the show
