40 out of 40 sounds good to me.
Does the qualification vary by department or State for retired LEO? What out of 40 would allow you to carry under HR 218? [Or I could just ask one of my brothers both of whom are retired form the job.]

Qualified on a state required course (active or retired).
The low shots are from the draw and shot from the hip; close range just rock out of the holster and fire two rounds.
