    Default What's your gun belt.

I'm looking for a good gun/utility belt. I have always used a good thick leather belt. But they have been getting bet up with holsters and key rings I where for work. And they seam to ether be to tight or losses do to where the hole are punch and what I'm whereing that day. So I'm thinking a
1.5 in noylon belt. Any ideas I like what I see at Blackhawks but they are 1.75 this is to big for my work items.
    CM9 and lovin it.

I had a Wilderness Tactical? belt that was real good. Most of the good nylon belts have a size limit far as minimum and maximum but they are perfect for what you describe. I out grew mine, actually I think it shrunk.

I think Brownells is carrying some nylon stuff now also that might be a good option. I can't remember whose stuff it is.

I just confirmed with one of the guys, Wilderness and Blackhawk now offer the 1 1/2" version. The Blackhawk has an extra D ring on the front that I would cut off since it interferes with my belt loops and my helicopter repelling days I think are pretty well over.

Actually, Bawanna, it's a conspiracy among the clothing manufacturers. I'm no bigger now than I was at eighteen, but my pant size is now a 42 instead of 30. I think that it has something to do with the inflation we've all been hearing about. I blame it on Obama.

There are a variety of nylon inner duty belts with velcro attachment so you can adjust it just so. Just do a google search.

Here is a very inexpensive one: http://www.loopbelt.com/default.asp

Here is a Blackhawk one for a couple of dollars more that can be worn reversed for a dressier look: http://www.copquest.com/26-3880.htm

    Here's an Uncle Mike's: http://www.opticsplanet.net/uncle-mi...duty-belt.html

BTW, my favorite belt is this Amish made one with roller buckle. I am going to drill holes in between the holes for finer adjustments.

They have them in brown and in smooth style at the same price. Good sturdy belts and I really like the roller buckle.

I already have a brown Galco belt, kinda wanted a black one but didn't want to pay $60+ again. Just ordered one of those amish ones, thanks for the link!

I have ordered a black one with the eagle printing, but it's back ordered. They look like a terrific buy.

I literally destroyed several quality dress belts before switching to real gun belts.
Now all the belts I wear are various styles of gun belts.
Even to work where I can't carry.

I bought one of these belts, black with the eagle print, about 1 1/2 years ago. Then, I bought another plain black one a few months later. The eagle print one still looks like new, but the plain one had a defective finish and all of the black has disappeared from the the edges, which now look like rough raw leather. I contacted Hank's Clothing yesterday about it and they are going to send me a new belt!

So, I want you all to know how Hank's Clothing stands behind these belts and give them a try!
    Very interesting...
