Default Fell in Love all Over Again

Went to the club by myself this afternoon. It's been a while with the holidays and all, and it was pushing 50 degrees today.

Got up there and the outdoor range was completely empty. Only other folks were over on the skeet range.

I brought my Mosin 91/30 along and put a few rounds through her at 50yds. A little high and right. Ok, I'll buy that. Cleared all that stuff up and moved down to the pistol range.

Got my good old CM9 out and put about 35 or 40 round through it at 7 yds. I could place the shots anyplace I wanted.

Then out came my beloved K9. Put about 40 rounds through it at 7yds and got even tighter groups. All shots within a 2' circle. So since I'm alone, I decided to move the target back to 15 yds and play a little.

Put 4 mags through her in rapid fire fashion. And promptly fell in love again with this pistol. It's so damned smooth and easy to reacquire the target.
I think I'll keep her for a while.

Here's my target from 15 yards. Pretty good shooting for me. Perhaps others aren't impressed but I feel pretty good about it.

Despite what you read about accuracy in gun magazines, that's good shooting. I wouldn't want to be a bad guy on the business end of your k9.

I'm impressed. I don't think I could do that slow fire with my PM9.

Was that a 12 gauge or a 20 gauge. Nice pattern.

I also can put my shots at 7 yards anywhere I want them, every time I shoot and where the bullet finally ends up is exactl;y where I wanted it to go. U never miss that way.

It wasn't intentional. His name is Senator Chuck McIlhinny PA State Senator for the 10th District. He's a good guy and is 1000% pro 2A.

He supplies cases and cases of targets and other shooting type stuff to gun clubs and shooters in his district.

Really good guy and very personable. Comes to the club a few times a year to touch base and give a talk on current topics.
