Dot Night Sights for CM9

I think I know the answer and it is "NO". Having said that because I am amazed at the knowledge from the members on this forum, I will post this. Does anyone make dot night sights for a Kahr CM9. I really would like to have some without cutting the slide if I don't have to.

I think xs now offers what ur lookig for.. for the staked cm series kand one canalso (Ithink) send their slide to xs and they will cut u a dovetail to install their dovetailed sights to. Personally I would just go with the staked front sight. uch lower in price over all and THEY WORK FINE.

XS has 2 options for the CM9.

The pinned that require you sending your slide to them and pay $120 for sights + $40 install + return. They will only sell these for in house installs at this time. Last year they sold them w/out install, but i was told they had a high failure rate due to faulty installs this stopped for the time being.

You can also get a set that uses a novak front dovetail that is the +$70 if you go through XS to cut the dovetail (permanent mod to the gun). However, if you have a local gunsmith most will usually cut and install for $40-$70. And usually dealers sell the sights for $108-$120. So you can come out at about the same price and have a good dovetail front sight if you find or know a good gunsmith. This is the the route i went and really glad i did, i would worry the pinned may not hold up over time.

So your looking at $148-$230.

Dawson also makes sights for Kahr pistols with "stake on" front sights (though I'm not sure about the CW380):

FWIW, sights listed for "CW" pistols will work on the "CM" pistols and the old E9 pistol.

I got the stake on front sight from Dawson for my CM9, does anybody know of a video on how to install it? The directions included look easy enough but I would like to see a video before I try it.

So I'm clear to get the XS Big Dot I will need to send in my slide so they can install? Or buy a different set from them and have a local gunsmith install? I have a CM9 as well...Thanks
