Default remove and replace fron P380 sight

I want to remove the front sight on my P380 and install a Big Dot. So here's my simple question As I look down the slide, do I remove the existing sight in the dovetail left-to-right or right-to-left. Please excuse my ignorance but I can't seem to find the answer

u coulld emailJay at kahr and ask that question.
. My PM9 has over 40,000+ rounds through it, and runs much better than an illegal trying to get across our border

I don't know if the dovetail keyway is tapered. I don't think it is. If that is true, the sight could be removed from any side.

That being said, the new sights I have purchased usually recommend installing them from the ejection port side of the slide. I have always done it that way without a problem.

As viewed from the rear sight to the front sight the sights are removed left to right.

This is one application where I might choose the 2X4. You never want to look down on a gun. It just might save your life.

Yer welcome Flincher. There is a very good video from Dawson Precision on You Tube on how to properly remove and replace a front sight. Watch it. The vid could save you a lot of aggravation and frustration. I wish that I could find something that would work on Jocko.
