Has anyone painted their matte MK9/40 frame black, but left the slide matte stainless? I am tempted to send my frame to a friend to have him duracoat it.
Has anyone painted their matte MK9/40 frame black, but left the slide matte stainless? I am tempted to send my frame to a friend to have him duracoat it.
I had a stainless slide put on my K40 with a blackened frame. It was all black originally, had a barrel peening issue and they were waiting for a black slide. I asked about a stainless and they put it on and shipped same day. No charge.
Should have showed you when you were up.
I'll see if I have a picture someplace or take one tonight. I like the two tone look myself.

As long as you're considering making your MK9 a two-tone, you might want to consider all your options.
I have never liked black on stainless unfortunately. That is why I didn't buy one of those.
Hey Bawanna, That K40 is sweet. Looks like it has some Bawanna grips on it too.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.
