Default Anyone ever buy the same gun twice?

Six months ago I traded my CW40 to my LGS. It was then sold to another guy in less than a week. This past Thursday they advised me it had been traded back in. Looked just like it did when I traded it in. Supposedly the guy had only fired two rounds thru it to try it out. I now have it back in my hands . I'm glad she found her way back home.

Some things are just meant to be.

I sold my first gun a Ruger Single Six to a co worker many years ago. I ended up buying it back after a year or so too. Still have it, it's meant to be.

Just be glad its a firearm and not a woman.

I know two gents, each married a gal and bought a house. Then they split. Both lost over $100k on the old ladies half of the real estate, and the legal fees were probably in excess of $20k.

Both ladies sold their share of the division of property - that is, all firearms, all really nice cameras, all boats and Harley's.... so it all had to be liquidated. The basic ruination of the male by way of the legal process which favors the defenseless and nearly legally blameless.

End story - both women now broke, come back to the guys they ruined, and the stupid asses took 'em back and married 'em again. Go figure.

I did very well selling, I took a severe beating buying.

I've never split with a woman so while that is about the scariest thing I can think of I know nothing about that.

I think even if we were to split she wouldn't mess with my guns. That would be like pulling life support and she knows that.

I've never heard that one before ... but I'm right in the middle of it as my 1998 VW Cabrio is out getting painted as I type.
