YEEHA!!!! a brand new CW45 rests on my hip...
I sold the XD9sc today and headed straight to my regular gun shop and brought home a new baby. The XD9sc is a fine weapon and sweet shooter with mild recoil, but ever since I got a PM9 and CW9 it has rarely been carried. Sooo, it funded a CW45. This .45 is 6oz. lighter and thinner than the XD9sc, but very close in actual size.
I'm hoping that the 45 breaks in like the 9's did, with no hiccups.....no feed or eject issues. I broke it down a little while ago and gave it a good cleaning and lube. The grips on Kahr are, IMO, not very comfortable. I put an inner tube on and that softened it up a good bit. That made a difference on the CW9 and should do the same on the .45.
Merry Christmas to me.
I'll try to get pictures of the family up in a day or so.
