Default CTL midnight 3 gun shoot

I saw on the Sportsman Channel that Crimson Trace is sponsoring a midnight 3 gun competition to employ their laser products. It is obviously to demonstrate to 3 gun competitors the significance of lasers on their weapons during total darkness. Being it is a Crimson Trace show, they will obviously only show positive comments from competitors about their laser products. It is an interesting competition and good marketing ploy by Crimson Trace.

My wife once tried to save us a little money and deleted the channel from our offerings. She did not mean any harm...she simply did not watch it herself. It is back on again. With so much crap and advertising on the dish, it is one of the few channels worth having. IMO.

The CTL midnight 3 gun competition really looks like a lot of fun and good training. It appeared to me that it was more for combative training than competition. Like most small local gun competitions, it is just a good excuse for a bunch of folks to get together to do some combative training. I learned that 10% of our training is for our physical skills. 90% of our training is for our mental attitude....to prepare us to be ready mentally and with the right attitude to draw and use our weapon. We can be prepare to be physically skilled, but if we are not prepared with the right mental attitude to save our life or the lives of others, we crumble. When you have someone attacking with a gun, knife, whatever...you must be ready mentally. These shoots are one of the training steps that help get us there.
