Default Another option for Long gun

Citadel Arms finally introduced their version of the M1 Carbine in 9mm. I can't make an determination on how they do, but it might be worth a shot.

I wonder if the rear sight could be changed out to something closer to the WWII original.

Hey, I like it and it might even be legal here in Connecticut. [Been thinking about getting something special for myself when I turn 70 this August.]

And, it wouldn't be complete with the Beretta Pistol to share mags with. Sort of a twofer.

I am not too familiar with Citadel or M1 carbines.............why would they call them "Beretta type" magazines?

It is a pistol caliber carbine and they generally are made to take an already extant pistol magazine like Glock, Bereetta, etc. At least that is my story and I'm sticking to it.

Looks good. All I know is my AO M1 30 cal is a hoot to shoot. Ammo isn't that expensive if you are resourceful and I found spare metal mags cheap too. Yet maybe he needs a little brother?

I think that would be perfect in .45 ACP.

I agree. I've had two 9mm carbines in the past 10 years, and have no desire for another. The .45 acp, with the right loads, might just be useful.

For now, I'll stick to the pistol caliber lever guns

Speaking of that...I'm starting to see the Henrys in 357 available around town.
