I am wondering if this base plate will work with the 6 round PM9 mags. Looking for a little more meat for my ring finger to grab without going with the Pearce extensions.

I don't know but, good question.
You may need to email Kahr.
Buy the kit, as you'll need both parts, description say it won't fit though

I think it will, have tried it 'cause I have a cw9 and pm9
I'll look for the pic I know I took one
OK here's the pic, I filed it some though

That's the same idea I have for the PM9. DID it work?
Those polymer bases can work, but you will need to lightly sand the top of the base so that there is room enough for the magazine catch to engage the retention notch securely... and without undue force on insertion. Lay a sheet of medium to fine sandpaper on the table and try to EVENLY take down the top just a bit.

Like Wynn said, just need to sand the top of the base so the mag catch can connect. trial and fit a little at a time. I left the smallest of gap between the mag base and the magwell, can't see it in the pic though. I use the plastic base on my back up mag to make it easier to grab, and the metal one on the pistol for carry.
Those who hammer their guns into plowshares will plow for those that don't.
Here's a cut down base from an extended mag for another option to fill the gap
That's a Kahr mag base and the part I trimmed off
just sayin'

Thanks guys! Have a Black PM9 coming soon (from a KahrTalk member), and don't care for that big gap. Looks good.

I put the black metal base kits on my 9mm's. I don't need extra space and am fine with two fingers on the grip. I would put some on my PM45 if Kahr would make them... better for concealability, though I've found the P-series to be just about as easy to conceal.
Choices... we can all choose to make our Kahrs fit our hands as needed... exceptin' maybe you guys with oversized mits!

When you're sanding and testing use a full mag to test for fit.
On my first one I used an empty mag and ended up with too much space.
