I like and endorse the technology....for those who want it. It's sad useful advancements have to be so politicized, by both sides.

This is just wrong on so many levels:
First of all I don't have any problem with the gun. If shooters want it...they will buy it. Let the market decide. I don't want one.
Second. The New Jersey law is just stupid. When are the citizens of NJ going to wake up and get rid of their goofy representatives? That's where the backlash needs to happen.
Lastly. Freedom is freedom and it goes both ways. The gun maker should be allowed to make it, the LGS should be allowed to sell it, and we should be allowed to buy something else.
O|||||||O
I wouldn't care if I could be assured that it'd remain just another option for a gun purchase.
[Would I need two wrist watches, one for my right and one for my left? Four ifin I'm carrying a BUG?]
Edit: Started reading and research on the gun...
"Wristwatch needs to be with 15" of the gun."
"The iW1 watch can be used with multiple iP1 pistols..."

And what about those of us who suffer from Chronophobia, the fear of wearing watches. Would we be exempt. Watches, we don't have no watches. We don't need no stinking watches. (With apologies to Humphry Bogart.)

Two thoughts on this:
This is pretty expensive technology. I think the state should subsidize the technology. (buy a smart gun, get a rebate!)
How long before the gun confiscators have some kind of scrambler/hijacking gear with them to disable your guns when they are knocking at your door (assuming they knock?
