Default CA legal P380 more prone to lockup problems?

I have fired 3 P380s and 1 CW380 a fair amount. The only one with numerous failures to lock up was a used CA legal P380 with the loaded chamber indicator on the slide top and the magazine disconnect. I would think these are rare here on the East Coast. Anybody, anywhere have similar problems with that model? I suspect that the loaded chamber indicator may be the culprit.

I do not know if it causes issues. My P380 is CA legal. I did have to send it in for "adjustments", but after my first 100 rounds afterwards it seems fixed. The gun is vey accurate and so concealable. Hard to beat if working as I should

I doubt that the loaded chamber indicator would prevent your gun from going into battery. On a list of things that could prevent you gun from going into battery the loaded chamber indicator would come in dead last.
