That is one sweet looking gun. I have a PM40 which I love. I'm wondering if the extra weight of the MK40 would help at all with the recoil. I suppose you would pay a penalty in carry comfort due to the added weight. I'm really just looking for an excuse to get one of these.
Having shot my MK9E and my buddy's MK40 back to back, I can say definitively that the .40 has noticeably more recoil than the 9. It wasn't unpleasant, just noticeable.
We did a few double tap and mag dump drills, and the 9 is able to get back on target much faster than the .40 (we estimated I could fire my 9 at 1.5-2x the rate he could with the .40). Take that for what it's worth, but I'd take either. I happened to purchase 9mm partially influenced by my other 9mm pistols and the fact that I already reload for it.
OH Yea! My favorite...
Nice pics!
I have a question regarding the Elite option. I have seen references to an "elite" shorter trigger pull but the Kahr website does not list that as one of the extras with the elite package. Anyone know anything about this trigger work?
Really nice set of pics
