I also eventually want to get a replacement front sight, as the plastic one sucks. Any recommendations?

    The melt job looks awesome!

As for a front night sight I replaced my factory sight on my CM9 with one from Dawson Precision after I got my slide back from getting Cerakoted. Very happy with it!

hello all. So.. does anyone know why Kahr made the forward part of the ejection port (on the slide) so aggressively backwards? It gets caught on my pants/shorts all the time when drawing from IWB. Very annoying! You can actually see that the black finish is worn off on the sharp part (see image)

I've seen a lot of pictures on here. Thanks for those. I assume its okay for me to file it down. Right? But my original question still remains. WHY did Kahr make it so aggressively backwards?

That one corner to the outside of the slide could be rounded a bit (it's does no harm to do so to it or the edge below it, just stay away from where the slide and barrel meet on top), but some may like how it looks as is.

Really should elaborate some since the "Took a hacksaw..." sounded kind of coarse so here is the part that was left out: along with some files, some sandpaper was used to work the frame down as needed to make the finished product look as close to looking like it came from the factory as possible, not perfect but close enough for government work. My MK9 was used as a guide for length and everything worked out fine. Also made a doulbe floor plate to put on the 8 round mag and that worked out fine too. Pictures will follow as soon as possible.
