Can you tell me what this part is named and what's it used for and is it replaceable? Had my gun in my gun safe never dropped it before, just took it out one day and this part just fell out.
Is this gun still safe to should with it being out.

Yes, it's replaceable. (same procedure as shown in this video at about the 3:00 mark: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjtrGaQUIHk)
I doubt this would cause any safety issues and the gun would probably function, but I'd replace it as soon as possible. I'd definitely not rely upon the pistol for any serious social purposes until the cup is replaced.
