I'm another 45-70 fan, having a Marlin 1895 and a T/C Contender barrel in that caliber. The Marlin is the standard rifle with a pad - nothing too difficult. The Contender is another story. 5 shots and I had a blood blister in the web of my hand. It's great fun.
Before long we're going to need to create a 45-70 owner's sub forum....I'm sure eventually Kahr will build a pocket pistol that will chamber that right?

No exactly a pocket pistol, but it is a handgun in 45-70...

i've got 1895 guide gun that i love. i think unless u r early 20s and work out every day u might have a few to many rounds in that carrier. if they r full power factory loads u probaly r going to stop long before u empty the carrier.
