For fans of the 870

Just picked this up, couldn't resist it for the price. Like new 870 Supermag with a 26" vent rib barrel, it's probably going to get bobbed down to about 21" for the house. How many others here are fans of the old warhorse?

I own an 870 Wingmaster. It's equipped with a Hastings Rifled slug barrel and a 1X5 Leupold scope for deer hunting.

Got two riot 870 12s. Love em. Then again... I love most 12s.

Love the older 870's but wouldn't take one from the last 12-15 years. Remington has really lost me as a customer in that time.

Now, that being said I love my two 870's. One is an Express Magnum that is my number one go to bird/clay gun hands down. The other is a Police Magnum with pistol grip for home defense.

I have two 870's. First and best is old CHP Wingmaster I had refurbed by I don't remember who anymore 15 or so years ago that I fitted with a Vang Comp barrel. The other is a Police version I bought new well over a decade ago that also has a Vang Comp barrel.....got that one for wife. Before those we had stock Mossberg 500's....gave one of those to my son and sold one to a neighbor. They're good basic shotguns but I'm a believer in not complicating things with multiple manual of arms unnecessarily.
