these forums are amazing, I posted the original in this thread in the CCW, Tactics, and Training section and somehow it snuck over here to Politics, go figure.
I was trying to point out where the shots fired, landed and what happens when a shooter under great stress is pulling the trigger. if the feds have neat stuff like TV CSI, they could take the autopsy results, the shooters position and put together a scale animation of the targets positions as each shot landed. I don't care much about the politics involved, was more interested in the forensics and what kind of training would really be useful for high stress events. going to the range and putting a box of ammo into a paper target is not going to get it. anybody have any experience with something like this? http://www.virtra.com/

Shooting paper is best used for learning/maintaining basics. Force on Force training is how you learn to fight.

That is unless you want to learn the "hard" way, which could easily be fatal.

Anything related to or linked to the shooting in St Louis will eventually be political. No need to ask me how I know this.

I don't understand why I'm not listed as a moderator. If anyone knows the limits of what can be said on this MB it's me.

I think that Michael Brown just may have had his hands up. When I lunge at someone my hands aren't at my side. I'm usually going for the throat.
