I am going to be getting a ct45 soon and I am wondering if the 1911 mags would work in it. The 7 or 8 rounders probably. But has anyone tired to see if it does works? like the cw45.
I am also new to this forum.

I believe you have to slightly modify the magazines. It wasn't worth the bother to me.
Draw me not without provocation, sheath me not without honor.
I tried them in mine and they were too short to engage the mag catch.
If you could get your hands on some 10 rounders without the big plastic basepad, then they MIGHT work.
1911 mags work ok in the cw45 with some slight modification. Like evanlee said the 10 rounders may work.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

The 10 rounds would probably be great! Thanks for the response guys

Actually the ACT MAG 8 round mags fit with minimal modification. The plastic tab on the base plate has to be removed. Once that is done, the magazines seat and work without problem. The last shot fired frequently does not lock the slide open. As a newbie on the forums, here is a link to a photo showing the KAHR 7 round mag, an unmodified 8 round mag, and a modified 8 round mag. The 8 round mag inserted into the TP45 is essentially no different in size as compared with KAHR's 7 round mag.
