For years I've been running factory new Black Hills hollow points. Both the 115 gr. EXP and their 124 gr. +P load. I'll likely be switching to Federal HST 124 +P if they perform reliably in my PM9.

I've used both Speer Gold Dots and Federal HSTs (my current carry load). They both run perfectly in my PM9 and K9. I carry HSTs in the PM45 as well, but you were asking about 9mm, so nevermind.

I love my COUNTRY...but I don't trust my GOVERNMENT.
Gold dots and hornadys. My cm9 runs everything great, period.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I run speer gold dots.
Golden Sabers for me.
Thanks for all the input. I ordered some Speer Gold Dot, Hornady, and Federal to try out. Ouch, expensive but worth it to make sure it functions well with the pistol. It will be an expensive range session for sure!
I have a G42 that runs great with FMJ Ball ammo but it had some major hiccups (failure to feed) today with Speer Gold Dot HP's. Definitely didn't give me the warm fuzzies thinking about doing malfunction drills in a defensive scenario.
So, I am hopeful the CM9 will eat the HP defensive rounds......

I've a little over 2500 rounds of everything I can find in mine except steel case. Never a problem.
My PM9 does great with Hornady Critical Duty and Federal HST 124 gr.
We have a PM9 and 2 CM9s and they feed everything we put in them.

Thanks for the successful range report. As far as defensive rounds, I like HST 147 in short barrels such as my MK9. However, although a particular hp will work in one pistol, it does not necessarily mean it will work in another. GD 124 +p also works in my MK9. Unfortunately, the HST 147 ate very hard to come by. Good luck, per your original request.
