Default Added a USP9 Stainless Compact today

Was in a LGS today and as usual was NOT looking to acquire another firearm....and we all know how that goes......

There it was sitting there for a shade under 600.....used but damned if I can find a mark on it. Yup it now resides with my VP9 and P30SK V1

Not up on the Variants for the USP but it is a DA/SA with safety. Came with 2 10 round mags..1998 build. I picked up an additional 13 rounder for it on the way home.

This is one sharp looking gun

Wait 'til you shoot it. You're in for a treat. Congrats, that's a beautiful HK. My first HK was the same model. Only difference is a KH date code. That brushed finish is just gorgeous. The newer ones aren't quite the same. IMHO, the early stainless HKs are the nicest. I have thousands of rounds through mine and it's very hard to see any wear at all. Tough HK steel. Enjoy.

    No O-ring on the compact.
Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.

Interesting, as I've been told the .45 compact has the o-ring, as does the .45 tacti-cool

Several of the full size USP models use a O-ring, such as the Elite and Expert, as does the MK23 and it's replacement the MK24, (HK45CT) and HK45.

I'll defer to the expert - you!

I was told the full size was the only one with no o-ring... back asswards.
