Ammo for CM 40, CM 45
I've had my CM40 for several years but didn't carry it as it had a lot of FFT issues with a wide range of ammo. I came to realize that the gun did not like most ammo with wide mouths. Additionally, I had quite a few followers break on me and so I never felt confident with it. I recently bought a CM 45 because the reviews didn't seem to indicate those problems. Unfortunately, the CM 45 did seem to also have FFT problems with a lot of ammo. After a LOT of experimentation, I have found that one round runs in both and it has very low recoil. It's the Double Tap 160 gr. Barnes TAC-XP. It's all copper and has impressive numbers. Give it a try and let me know what you think. The Federal 165 gr. Low Recoil Hydra Shok JHP also seems to run well as both are fairly well rounded near the mouth.

A Gun is a lot like a parachute. If you need one and don't have one, you probably won't need one again.
