Default Entered the world of the Bullpups

    Anybody else into bullpups?

In the last couple of years I've grown to like the shorter rifles. The center of gravity is farther back and they are good for shooting while standing. I find its easier to hold on target at distance even without a sling. Looked at several Bullpups and settled on either the Steyr AUG or the Tavor. Went with the Tavor and its a good shooter. 27 1/4 inches long including the flash suppressor yet still has a 16 inch barrel. 340 rounds down range so far and not a bobble.

The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Wow! I thought this post was going to be about dogs.

muggsy: Let's face it, being shot by a .380 will ruin anyone's day.

    Very cool congrats!
I want one too! Everytime I go to a shop or show I have to pick them up and check them out. I have been waiting, hoping for the prices to drop some.

Yeah the prices are up there a bit but they have come down about 25% since they were released. It was interesting to hear that IWI built a factory in the USA in order to be able to sell these on the US market.

I'm a big fan of short rifles.
Haven't wanted to go through the SBR paperwork though.
Have considered Steyr AUG or the Tavor as well.
They are nice non SBR alternatives.
    Congratulations!

Would like a further range report + &- of the design. Always fascinated by the design, never shot one. Considered changing stocks and trying one out on my Ruger 10/22.

I just wish HK would import the MP7 into the USA. shot one in Germany and oh my gosh it puts almost everything else to shame. Love the AUG but bullpups do have limitations.
