    Default TP45 recoil spring "Beware"

So I ordered four spare TP45 recoil springs from Kahr Shop #005K4S. Upon inspection they are 22 coils but my TP45 spring has 26 coils. A phone call to service and they promptly sent the correct parts #005KT9. The part is listed WRONG on Kahr Shop.com. The T, TP, CT series 9, 40 and 45 use the same 26 coil spring. The 22 coil spring is used on 3.5" barrel pistols.

If one checks the ct series all the 4" pistols are listed except the TP. Ironically the spring is two dollars LESS than the wrong springs I received. For 3.5" pistols just order the CT spring and cut to correct length. You could do the same if only changing the outer spring on the captured RCA.
