    Default CW45 dropping Mag

    I'm about 350 rounds into a new CW 45
it was jamming with Federal White box so I stopped and had my Smith polish the feed ramp and got good results with several other brands.
now she's feeding and shooting well, but mid way through the magazine it is dropping out
as a note when I first load the full mag it takes a little force to lock in but if I immediately drop it it goes back in like butter. If I take out a round and start over the same thing happens
any advice or should I have the mag release looked at?
    thanks

Lock the slide back and insert an empty magazine to see how much contact your getting with the mag release. You can see even better it you pull the spring and follower out of the mag.

Might be a little bur or something keep the release from getting full engagement.

Is the release flush on the right side when the mag is locked in place or sticking out a bit?

I'm going to chock this issue up to break-in
My CW45 had all sorts of break-in issues.
At the start,Jambs that took some force to free up.
    Then stovepipe issues.
Then it was failure to go into battery.
    Then Mag drops.
Then back with the failure to go into battery.
    What I have Done:
had my gunsmith polish the feed ramp ($15)
Shoot the crap out of the pistol (600 rounds)
Clean the gun after every 50-100 round shooting session (I'm using Frog Lube/sovent these days)
Im happy to report that yesterday, the gun shot 50 flawlessly (very accurately) with basic Winchester Walmart ammo.
I than ran a mag of Hornady Critical Defense through it and it was smooth as butter.
IMHO this pistol is ready for Carry
    hope this helps others
