Why is the "blunt" PM9 preferred to the newer, chamferred?

what is a good price range for a used but excellent condition PM9?

Personal preference only. It is a millimeter or so shorter too.

I got mine for around $450 trade value. Most are over $500.

Some of us just can't resist what we cannot have. Blunts are rare around here.

There is no practical reason to prefer the old version over the new one that I'm aware of except perhaps the fact that it's less common. It does nothing any better or worse than the newer version.

I've owned my PM9 for 10 years, but never took it out of the safe until I decided to start using it for carry recently. This was a few weeks ago. When looking online, that's when I noticed they had changed the slide. Mine is "blunt" as well. My first thought was, "Great, now I'll never be able to get parts."
