Default Help me locate conical shaped bullets for reloading the 380.

My CW380 only likes conical shape bullets like the Hornady Critical Defense, etc.
I can find those same bullets to reload, but I was looking for a cheaper alternative. Something conical, either FMJ, plated, or straight lead. Shape is my main requirement.

Do you know of a source for economy conical bullets for reloading?

I like the 100gr. flat point from XTreme.

yep, xtreme was what I was going to suggest. I no longer own a .380, so don't load it, but I do load the xtreme bullets in 9mm and .45 acp. Been pleased with what I've loaded.

I have been reloading Berrys for years but recently bought a supply of X-treme plated bullets in .45 and have been pleased with them. I'll probably get more of the X-treme when my current supply of 9 mm is used up. The Extreme bullets seem to have a heavier/thicker layer of plating.

I noticed the Eggleston bullets are coated, not sure what they use. I might have to try some of these as well in their pistol calibers. I have shot coated bullets in my 300 AAC BO and have been pleased with the performance of these too. Coated bullets are a relatively new thing. They sure are slick little buggers.

It sure is nice not having to worry about supplies of bullets to buy. Powder is making a bit of a comeback but not like it use to be. .22s are still ridiculous to find.

Unless I'm missing something, it seems gun papa hasn't been back here since the end of March, about the time he started this thread.
    just sayin'
