m1 thompson broken firing pin

I have a 1996 AO m1 thompson the firing pin snapped in half while at the range and has jammed inside with the trigger, as a result it will not break down as it should. The bolt will not return fully to the firing position. does anyone have any suggestions? and help would be appreciated.

I have a 27 but I'm not that familiar with it to be of much help.
If GhostSoldier is about at all he's a Thompson Guru but he's not visited much of late.
There's a few others around here with Tommy's, hopefully some help will arrive shortly.
