Ted Cruz is as serious as lung cancer about righting the wrongs of this country and he and I won't give up until he's moving out of the White House in eight and a half years.

Obama was serious about wronging the rights of this country. Cruz has quite an uphill battle and cannot do it alone.

Why are we peons so gullible? The RNC establishment can't stand Trump or Cruz. They are playing them against each other to keep either from getting enough delegates to get the nomination straight out. It's working great. This takes us to a brokered convention. Think things won't get interesting then? Hold some of your angst back. You'll need it then.
Obama was serious about wronging the country and said so from the start. The public was just too stupid, too ignorant, or too greedy to understand what he was really saying. When Joe the plumber called him out on the redistribution of wealth, Obama didn't try to hide his push toward socialism. He wallowed in it.

Don't know why anyone thinks there's an organized establishment that somehow pulls everyone's strings. Big time Rs and big money donors preferred Bush. Nothing special went wrong for him, but he got nowhere, so that tells you how much the "establishment" is worth.
At the convention, whoever manages to get the votes of a straight numerical majority of total delegates, on any ballot whether its the first or the 10th, gets the nomination. That's how it works. Cruz seems relentlessly, single-mindedly focused on that simple fact while Trump sort of splashes around starting to squander a huge lead. I think there's a real chance Cruz might pull it off.

Of course not. We all know everything is above board, honest and no strings are pulled in our government! Perish the thought! Hitlery will surely be indicted for her very obvious crimes.
The Rules Committee is going to meet to "decide on the convention rules" next week. Saw the head of the "Rules Committee" humming and hawing during an interview Friday.
I'll wait until after the convention to comment more on this. I've never wanted to be wrong more in my life but the naive faith I had in our government in my youth has waned considerably. Hope you are right.
With Kasich still running despite having won only his home state and not a single delegate since - he comes right out and says that he feels that he'll get the nod in a brokered convention even though no one is voting for him. The rules as they stand say that a candidate must have won 8 states I believe to be eligible to be voted for in the first 2 rounds. It seems that if he were to somehow wind up as the nominee a LOT of folks would be too disgusted to vote in November. I still say I'll vote for the Republican nominee in November but reluctantly if the nominee is either Kasich or a different one that hasn't even been in the race (or lost already). This country is in a lot of trouble the way politics has morphed into what it has.
