Whatever the outcome - if it does wind up being Trump v. Hillary the rheteric on both sides is going to really get VERY ugly.

The "swing states" will be the key. Don't forget that idiot Gore actually won the popular vote nationwide.

Don't forget.....a republican presidential candidate hasn't won the popular vote in over twenty years.
Fact is, if the president was elected based on popular vote rather than electoral college, Trump wouldn't stand a chance in November.
Aren't you glad it's not "one man one vote"?

Dunno why u keep saying that. Bush won an absolute majority of the popular vote vs Kerry. That was the last pres election before Obama. Republicans have won it much more often than Dems. In fact since Roosevelt there have been more pres elections where nobody got an absolute majority of the popular vote (7) than elections where the Dems did it (3 including last 2 by Obama).

Anyway, it would be a different election with different campaign strategies if popular votes decided it. Candidates would just target large cities instead of electoral votes. So given the system we have (which I do prefer btw) the popular vote is just a curiosity.

That's almost a deal breaker right there. I guess everyone makes a mistake now and then.

This morning Trump claimed Cruz's father was photographed with Lee Harvey Oswald before the JFK assassination.
